The problem I see with the whole ‘make money online’ scene is that it always seems to be about building a following and establishing a brand. ‘The money is in the list’ they constantly tell you – and maybe it is, but taking the time to build the reputation and establish that list is something I don’t have. When someone wants to buy a physical product they are going to buy it regardless of whether you have convinced them through a series of emails or have 20,000 monthly readers confirming you know what you are talking about. That buyer wanted a ‘Plasma TV’ and you simply provided them a nice review and link to Amazon to buy it. Good on you!
And Unlike the Digital Products world (read Clickbank) your visitor was also not debating as to whether this new ‘system’ or ‘push button software’ or ‘E-Course’ or ‘Video Series and Ebook’ would be right for them at this point because they were not searching for help on a topic or the answer to a question. They were looking for a new Scuba Tank! You Provided it, they bought it.
