Proflightsimulator Flight Software Product Review
I love flight simulation games. In fact, almost all of my PC games are based on flight simulation and air to air battles. I even have a collection of joysticks that I connect to my desktop computer in order to add to that realistic feel when flying a plane. However, I still havent found any flight simulation game that is very close to reality.
I dreamt of flying ever since I was a kid. In fact, I even considered joining the Air Force. It may sound stupid or absurd for most of you but I even emailed NASA to let me try out their flight simulator in order for me to really get the feel of flying a real airplane. And, obviously, NASA didnt really entertain my request.
However, I came across the Pro Aircraft Flight Simulator video game. At first I thought this was just another flight simulator game that will make you feel as if flying a plane is easy. But, because I love flight simulation games, I purchased it and tried it out.
After I got the game installed in my computer, I started running the game. I was really surprised in a very good way to see that this game has really great graphics. It had awesome scenery and it also offered complex or advanced sky model and world scenery.
It even had real life time and weather as well as climatic conditions. I even had a chance to choose from more than 20,000 real world airports to land and takeoff.
Although the graphics were great, I wasnt really sure about the actual feel for the game when flying the aircraft. I thought it was simple and anyone will be able to do it. However, this game surprised me again. The controls were rather hard to learn and I found out that it really did come close to reality. This flight simulator video game will require you to really learn how to properly fly a plane.
In addition to that, the real time weather and climate did have an effect on the flight of the plane. I also had a chance to choose from different plane models. From small aircraft to fighter planes and large commercial jets, I really had the power to choose what kind of aircraft I wanted to fly.
The game also had a flexible and open aircraft modeling system. Basically, the simulator has the ability to model various aircrafts in the game and I was really glad to see that the simulator has an extremely smooth and fluid instrument animation. The fully functional 3D cockpits were my favorite. In the game, I was able to let my view change inside the cockpit. I was able to see everything inside and the controls were highly interactive.
Whats more is that when I was flying a military aircraft, I got to land on the aircraft carrier. Now, although a lot of flight simulation games can let you do this, this flight simulator game made it harder and much more realistic when landing on the aircraft carrier.
