What is the best way to promote your website? That is a question that I have been asking myself regularly for a long time when I just started Internet Marketing. I have a background in an offline business (Marketing and PR) and a few years ago, the Internet was all new to me and I had no clue how to go about it.

When you first get onto the Internet with the purpose to make your bread and butter from it, it all looks like a big mishmash. I had not clue there was so much garbage on there. I mean, the amount of non-information was enormous and this was definitely something I did not expect from a medium as the World Wide Web.

At first I saw people promoting all kinds of crap I wouldn’t even try to sell to my worst enemy. Yet, they seemed to make a “decent” living with it. I found out all kinds of dirty marketing tricks were used to sell you a pile of shit (excuse my French) and make it look like pure gold. And people bought it, because they were desperately looking for solutions to their problems (mostly physical). Now, I never used this kind of tactics and I will never use those. If you want to last for a bit of time on the Net, you better deliver some quality, right?

Look, when you discover things like this (that people get scammed with crap), there is actually a choice between 2 things: Either you start scamming everybody yourself (not recommended, as you won’t last), or you decide you are like a lot of other people (really, most people are honest) and do it the right way.

So let me ask you this question? Are you the one that wants to make an honest living, or are you one of Captain Jack his friends (in other words, a bloody pirate) and couldn’t care less how you made your money? Then this is not for you, but if you want it the honest way and do not want to be a crim(inal), then I can show you a great marketing technique.

Anyway, I guess you get my point. I found a way to promote my products in an honest way and I think you should check it out if you want to promote YOUR business in a way that will really make you money.
